SerCom hosts visit of Vice Premier of Peopleīs Republic of China

The Vice Premier has responsibility for state planning, economic affairs, information technology, natural resources and energy development throughout the Peopleīs Republic of China. The visiting Chinese delegation, including several Government Ministers, received a presentation on SerComīs plans for further development of its business with Chinese companies which include an expanding product and component sourcing operation in China and in addition assisting Chinese companies coming to Europe with their import, duty, hubbing, product finalisation and distribution requirements. A tour of the facility followed, led by Pat McCarthy, SerComīs Site Production Manager (left of below photo). The Vice Premier was particularly interested in how SerCom currently has responsibility for finalisation and assembly of substantial inbound product from China and spent some time observing the high volume assembly process in operation.
